Our Story
Long before Superior Pizza Co. became a business, it was simply pizza night.
For years, my husband Dean made homemade pizza for us and our kids, perfecting his crust, tweaking recipes, and creating the kind of meals that brought everyone to the table. What started as a family tradition quickly became something that friends and family looked forward to whenever there was a gathering.
As the years passed, pizza night became part of birthdays, celebrations, holidays, weekends at the cabin, and everyday moments worth remembering. Eventually, grandchildren joined in, helping create a new generation of pizza night memories.
Seeing how much people loved Dean's pizza, I began asking a simple question:
"What if we shared this with other families?"
On March 15, 2025, that idea became a reality when Dean encouraged me to take the leap and share our pizza with the world. Two days later, Superior Pizza Co. was officially born.
Today, our Authentic World Pizza Crust and Original Sauce Mix helps families create the same kind of memorable pizza nights that inspired this business from the very beginning.
Superior Pizza Co. may have grown beyond our family kitchen, but it is still very much a family operation.
In October 2025, we moved into our production facility in downtown Danbury, Wisconsin after months spent remodeling the space and transforming the building into a licensed facility where our pizza kits could be produced and shared with customers across the region.
Today, our kits are still assembled by hand. My mom, Susan, and I carefully measure, mix, package, and prepare each kit with the same attention to detail that started this journey. From mixing ingredients to filling packets and packaging boxes, every kit reflects the care of the people behind it.

Why Superior Pizza Co?
The name Superior Pizza Co. reflects the place we call home.
Ronni grew up in Superior, Wisconsin, while Dean grew up in Minnesota. Together, their roots span both sides of Lake Superior, a region known for strong communities, hardworking people, and gathering around the table with family and friends.
The lighthouse in our logo is inspired by Split Rock lighthouse along Minnesota's North Shore. For us, it represents guidance, connection, and our favorite reminder: "Be the Light."
Superior Pizza Co. is more than a name. It is a tribute to the people, places, and traditions that shaped our family and inspired us to share our pizza with others.
